HELP Equipment Planning Expands Integrated Technology Services and Acquires Equity Stake in Technology Partner

03/25/2008

Plano, TX – HELP Equipment Planning, a provider of medical equipment project management services for healthcare development projects, announces it has acquired an equity position in Healthcare Integrated Technologies (HIT).

“In today’s complex healthcare environment it is imperative that early in the planning and development of facilities a great deal of attention be given to the integration of all facility systems and major medical equipment,” says Larry Hampton, CEO of HELP Equipment Planning. “The demands on facilities to provide better medical safety, have access to information, keep it secure and have technology that delivers more efficient patient care is critical to the operational success of new facilities.”

The integrated technology services and products provided through HELP by HIT include PACS, telemetry, integrated health information systems, ER systems and electronic medical records, along with a wide range of low-voltage systems.

“Integrated technology in healthcare means everything from how a sterilizer is installed and serviced, to the networking of computers, the functioning of nurse call systems and the reliability of nurse call systems.  Integrated technology touches virtually every aspect of your facility,” states John Clark, president of HIT.
