Loaner Kit Processing Services Available

Fall River, Mass. — Millstone Medical Outsourcing announced today that the company recently signed agreements with four companies to provide loaner kit processing services through Millstone Medical’s Memphis facility, which opened in October 2007.

Two of the customers utilizing the climate-controlled, centrally-located facility are Innovative Spinal Technologies, Inc. and OMNI life sciences, Inc. While the service is adapted to the particular needs of each client, loaner kit processing, in general, includes inspection, cleaning, replenishment, distribution, and tracking of surgical loaner kits used for a variety of orthopedic operations. OMNI life sciences, Inc. is a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-quality medical devices developed specifically for the orthopedics segment of the healthcare industry.  The company will utilize Millstone’s loaner kit processing services to expedite the inspection, cleaning, replenishment, and shipping of OMNI life science surgical instruments used in joint and knee reconstruction surgeries.  The company also employs Millstone to sterilize and package products at Millstone’s Fall River, MA, location.
