Millstone Medical Outsourcing Acquires New Facility

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Millstone Medical Outsourcing announced that the company acquired a new facility in Fall River, Mass., to accommodate growing business with new and existing customers and to allow for additional clean room operations. The new facility, located at 580 Commerce Drive, includes 27,000 square feet of space that allows increased capacity for advanced inspection services, ultrasonic cleaning, and sterile and non-sterile packaging. The new operational center will include a 5,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art clean room, expected to be up-and-running by January 2009. The company will maintain the existing Fall River facility and continue to provide high-quality services, including sterile packaging through its Class 10,000/ISO 7 rated clean room.

Millstone also offers loaner kit processing and distribution services through a strategically-located facility in Memphis, Tenn. Millstone, outsource partner to the nation’s orthopedic companies, is a provider of advanced inspection, clean room packaging, and loaner kit processing and distribution services to medical and dental device manufacturers worldwide.
