SourceMedical Announces Opening of New Learning Center and Appointment of New Director of Education and Learning

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- SourceMedical announces  the opening of its new, state-of-the-art LearningCenter. The new facility includes more than 3,000 square feet of additional space that will house two new classrooms and a simulated surgery center for student workshops and certification programs. Joining SourceMedical is leading industry consultant, Richard Pollack, who will oversee operations of the Learning Center as director of education and learning. He will be responsible for driving company-wide initiatives by offering expanded curriculum in application and best-practices. In addition to the educational activities offered in the new Wallingford, Conn. facility, classes will be expanded regionally across the U.S.

Pollack, who brings 10-plus years experience to the position, commented, "I am looking forward to building upon the educational foundation established by SourceMedical. The first courses to be held in the Learning Center will commence in January 2008 and will include classes covering utilization of all SourceMedical products and Best Practice workshops for facility managers.
