SourceMedical Named a "Top 100" Healthcare IT company

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — For the seventh consecutive year, SourceMedical Solutions has earned a spot on the prestigious Healthcare Informatics list of "Top 100" healthcare information technology companies. The company ranked 59th — three positions higher than in 2007.

The list, published in the June issue of Healthcare Informatics, ranks both public and private healthcare IT companies based on the previous year's revenue. Now in its 15th year, the list also honors vendors that have "taken ownership in a particular niche" and "grabbed the reins of a leading-edge technology," according to a statement issued by the business magazine's editorial panel of judges.

"We're very pleased with the recognition and proud of our consistent performance as reflected in our making the list for seven years in a row," said chief executive officer Larry McTavish. "SourceMedical continues to show stabilized growth with strong products for the healthcare IT industry.
